Adelaide Film Festival Attendances Rise by Almost 100% for 2005
Audience attendances at screenings for the biennial 2005 Adelaide Film Festival rose by approximately 96% on those of the 2003 event.
The 2005 Adelaide Film Festival recorded total screening attendances of more than 33,000 across the thirteen-day program. A further 6,300 attendances were recorded across Festival's exhibitions, lectures and free events.
In 2003 the Film Festival recorded total screening attendances of 17,000.

Peace One Day by Jeremy Gilley, which received a standing ovation at its Adelaide screening, (also screened at the AFF regional program) took out best documentary film in the polls. As winner of Best Documentary Film, Kodak/ Digital Pictures awards the Peace One Day team a post-production package to the value of $1,500.00 and film stock to the value of $2,500.00.
