South Africa shortly after the end of the apartheid. Two 13 year-old boys – Madiba and Sipho – play along the railway line in Kayelitsha when a dead man is tossed from a passing train. In his brief case the boys find a gun and a video camera. Sipho takes the gun and becomes the leader of a gang. Madiba takes the camera and hides it in a wooden box. One day he films a young white girl, Estelle, stealing a book from a bookstore. The two children become great friends.
