World Premiere
Sarah Watt, Australia 2005
Photo from Look Both Ways

Look Both Ways, a mix of animation and live action, is set over a hot weekend. Seven people are trying to deal with unexpected events.

As their paths intersect and their stories intertwine, they create an intriguing picture, which is both intimate and universal.

Sarah Watt, William McInnes, Justine Clarke and Bridget Ikin will be guests of the Festival

About the Director

Sarah Watt

Writer/director Sarah Watt has been making award-winning short animated films for 15 years. Her acclaimed Small Treasures brought widespread international attention, winning (amongst many awards) the Baby Lion for Best Short Film at the Venice Film Festival. Local Dive and Living with Happiness followed, both of which screened widely. Sarah's painterly animations are distinguished by her comic exploration of personal states, set against lush Australian landscapes. Look Both Ways is Sarah's debut feature.
