The Hidden History of Homosexual Australia
This revelatory film dispels any myths that homosexuality is somehow a "new thing". While the term itself might well be more recent, evidence suggests there have been same sex liaisons occurring in various forms in Australia since the arrival of the first Europeans. Rare and highly entertaining footage drags this otherwise uncovered history right out of the closet and chronologically documents the ever-so gradual shifting of society's attitudes towards homosexuality – leaving us to consider how far we have come.
