Photo from Father to Son

Father to Son is a personal exploration of the relationship between fathers and sons through four generations of the filmmaker's family, and the conflict that inevitably arises when subjective memories differ from "reality". The film asks: how much do we become reproductions of those who brought us into the world? Is it really possible to break behavioural patterns? And are the values we have inherited from our fathers still valid in the modern world? Father to Son is bound to provoke.

Reviews

“In this personal film, the filmmaker examines his problematic relationship with his father and his feelings about his own fatherhood.”
