A sold out hit of AFF 03, Breath Control charts the history of beatboxing – the art of making music with nothing other than the human voice – from the 1980s pioneers (Doug E. Fresh, Biz Markie, and the Fat Boys) through to current figureheads (Scratch, and Rahzel, the Godfather of Noyze), via Tuvan throat singers and African chanting. Interviews, live performance, archival footage and animation, combine in this fast-paced documentary featuring mind-bending demonstrations by beatboxers from around the world.
