By the year 2131 the world as we know it will not exist. Our view of the future is replaced by a desolate wasteland ravaged by a world-wide non-nuclear war. Deunan roams the wastelands still believing she is in the war until she succumbs to an abduction carried out by her ex-lover turned cyborg. She is then taken to the new world capital/utopia "Olympus" where she is given the opportunity to begin a new, tranquil life. However, under the surface things aren't as tranquil as they seem. Appleseed: The Movie is full of awe-inspiring action encompassed in breathtaking visuals.
